DUVILLA produced a report about the integration of energy needs in humanitarian crisis response operations, commissioned by the Institute for Environmental Security and IUCN National Committee of the Netherlands. The report includes an overview of best practices of alternative, green energy sources for use in refugee camps. As a follow-up, DUVILLA facilitated an expert meeting on Ecosystems and Emergency Response during a Conference of IUCN Netherlands in 2010.
