Sustainable livelihoods project for Sudan Recovery Fund
2008 | Area of work: Sustainable peace building
Mark van Dorp formulated a concept note for funding by the Sudan Recovery Fund on post-conflict rehabilitation and sustainable livelihoods in South Sudan, for the ICCO Sudan Programme. This was followed by a support mission to South Sudan, for the set-up of the program and coaching/training of local partners AAH and SCOPE. The programme focused on agricultural production, alternative livelihoods, Vocational Trainings, and Support to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), and was implemented in Juba County (Central Equatoria State) between 2009 and 2011.
